Getting around
The wedding and surrounding events will take place near Nantwich in Cheshire.
Friday night dinner and Sunday brunch
The Friday BBQ will be hosted at our Airbnb at Hollies Barn, Broad Lane Nantwich, CW5 7QP
Unfortunately the Sunday brunch has been cancelled.
Ceremony and reception
The ceremony and reception are located at Combermere Abbey, Whitchurch, Shropshire, SY13 4AJ
Arriving at the venue
The entrance to the venue is gated followed by a long drive way. The gate is automatic and triggered by driving slowly up to it.
For those taking an Uber
There is an issue with the uber map where it directs drivers to the other side of the lake so you will need to advise the driver to go to the gate on the corner of Whitchurch Road and Goldsmith Lane
For those staying at the venue overnight
If you are only booked for the Saturday night you won’t be able to check in to the cottages before the ceremony.
There is a car park for overnight guests next to the cottages, turn left at the end of the long drive.
Driving
There is a car park by the ceremony entrance, turn right at the end of the drive way.
End of the night
The evening will finish at 11:30 and guests not staying over night will need to leave by midnight.
The venue is in a semi-rural area with limited taxi coverage, we strongly recommend pre-booking a taxi for the finishing time, see below for some local companies.
